My new favorite strategy board game is Settlers of Catan. My family loves it, too, except for when I beat them. I do not win all of the time, but I have developed enough of a reputation that I often get ganged up on when it looks like I might win. Tonight was no exception on both counts.

Today we took my wife's aunt and uncle to Ruby Falls. After we exited the cave, the kids enjoyed playing on the playground equipment while we sipped on Slushies.

Sorry for the long lack of updates. I have been busy ... what with a pregnant wife and all ... and on top of it all I this blog got hammered by SPAM. It's not that the junk comments affected my ability to post, but they did manage to turn me off of photoblogging. I'm seriously considering ditching PixelPost because of it. I think that with Wordpress and Akismet I could do a lot better in the spam prevention department.

This is Cosi and the photo was taken at vacation bible school at our church. We had a little fair last Wednesday and the kids were given tickets to use at the various booths. I was manning the photo station.

I cropped this for balance. I wish I had framed it better with the camera, but my family thought I was weird to take a photo of my niece's medal. Snapshots ... stick the snapshots when at events like this, I guess.

This was taken over the weekend at my niece's graduation from William Smith College in Geneva, NY. The man shaking the little stuffed graduation bear is John King. He is a CNN correspondent and was the commencement speaker.

Last one of the bike race for a while. Is that sweat or snot hanging there? Either way, it's proof of the intensity of that climb (17-18% grade at this spot). For those racing aficionados, notice the bar setup? That's classic Greg Lemond hand positioning for the aero-tuck.

When you are one of the favorites to win the race you get a lot of people riding behind you. It would make me nervous, but I suppose that Floyd Landis is used to it.

The next time I go to a bike race I need to remember to bring my kids' bucket of sidewalk chalk. These guys were writing a message for Floyd Landis, who was the winner of the day's stage and the overall race. I have two more Floyd photos to post.
