About ‘Chromaticus’

This is my daily photoblog. I try to post something here every day. When I fall behind I try to play catch up. I started photoblogging in 2004 with a PDA. Unfortunately, I broke it. My current gear is listed on the right sidebar. Unless I break it, too, then this site should continue to have fresh content.

The name comes from a formation of the Greek word chroma and the Latin suffix -aticus (from Greek -tikos). Chromaticus basically means “of, or pertaining to, color.” I have a natural bent toward color photography, but you will find the occasional black and white photo here.
